Grandmaster Nigel Glossop has been training in Martial Arts for over 40 years and has successfully run schools for over 20 years, in which time he has rewardingly taught thousands of men, women and children to defend themselves, gain confidence, and keep fit!
Grandmaster Glossop took up Martial Arts at the age of 7 when he enrolled in Wado Ryu Karate under the guidance of Robin Walker and Grandmaster Professor Tatsuo Suzuki (8th Dan)Four years later Grandmaster Glossop moved on to Jujitsu and Jujitsu Kobudo (weapons training). In 1987 Grandmaster Glossop started training with Grand Master Stephen Hammouda in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Korean Kickboxing, Choi Kwang Do and Pil Sung Do.
Whilst attending University in 1992 Grandmaster Glossop furthered his development in Martial Arts by training in Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Judo and Hapkido. One of his proudest achievements is winning the gold medal in the Student National Tae Kwon Do Championships plus over 20 other national semi and full-contact competitions.
Once he completed his studies Grandmaster Glossop returned to training in Choi Kwang Do, Aikido and Krav Maga and currently holds Black Belt Dan Ranks in Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Jujitsu, plus senior Dan ranks in Choi Kwang Do and Mastership in Pil Sung Do.
